Class Description

The Best of Yoga

YOGA STRETCH / PEACEFUL YOGA

Learn meditation, postures, breath work while stretching, balancing & experiencing total mind, body & spirit awareness & peacefulness

VINYASA & HATHA FLOW

Moving with your breathe in a slow flow dance-like fashion, sometimes holding the poses adds a Hatha component for body awareness & muscular strengthening

CHAIR

Learn how to workout in a chair using it as an assist at the Union City Senior Center.   Build strength, muscularity, endurance & balance

 

HOT POWER (winter class)

Tabata & Power both consist of 30 minutes of cardiopulmonary Yoga exercise followed by Yin (holding stretches 1-3 minutes). 

BODY SCULPTING / NIDRA

Yoga postures with hand weights, Pilates & aerobics for a total body fitness routine.  Nidra is yoga sleep – total body relaxation

AERIAL YOGA CLASS (reserve your spot or request a private class with friends & family)

Paula is a member of Yoga Alliance & IAYT with over 3,000 hours of training through YogaFit, Holy Yoga, Daily Om, Coaching the Body, YogaU & Yoga Alliance.  She is certified in Holy Yoga Therapy & is a Sound & Reiki Level 1 & 2 Practitioner, as well as a Level 1 Thai BodyWorker.  She also holds various yoga healing specialty certifications through YogaFit & Holy Yoga.  She has coordinated several yoga retreats to Costa Rica & has been asked to speak at various work sites, clubs & conferences on the healing aspects of yoga.  She has a passion for teaching classes, as well as helping people heal themselves through this practice & living a yogic lifestyle.
